Substations, ports, hospitals, branches and sensors all generate records at the far end of the network. Shipping that data back to a central region, or a foreign one, is both a delay and a border crossing.
The work does not wait at the core. It happens at a remote site, where a record is created the moment a meter reads, a camera sees or a form is signed. Send that data to a central cloud to be processed and it leaves the site, often the country, on every event. The sovereign answer is not a separate edge product bolted on.
